Levyte, give me an example please. And guys keep the ideas coming. What about an old design like a JBL

Cheers,
Andy.

Teunos i usually enjoy your lenghty posts but i feel ur a bit harsh here. And tek/techno is not sub heavy at all just kicky which should work with bph-s without the sub perfectly. Far best music for bph-s is psytrance, also without a sub just a huge bunch of them Nuke.

Using Selenium Pas1ma1 15" section would be start of a good project, probably just needs slightly larger chamber.

From last time people discussed this, will need some smoothing eq also.

Its a very small bandwidth. I would suggest a single fold flh and a overlapped lower crossover frequency

Did someone mention JBL 4560's?
(EV TL5050 on the bottom)

The Klipsch LaScala can be built in an afternoon from one 4x8 sheet, and kicks well from 100hz to 400hz (or even higher). A block of four will slam down to about 64hz or so.

This is with an inexpensive Eminence woofer.

These were great from 100hz to 800hz, but were 48" wide by 36" tall, by 24" deep and had two 15's. I actually ran them on top of four LaScala per side, from 200hz to 800hz (a four-way system). Later I changed them to two 12's so they could run higher, and ran them from about 150hz to 1.2Khz (a three-way system), on top of my PPSL boxes.
