Hi everyone,
I'm new here on this forum and after reading a lot of topics, I decided to start one of my own. My sound system consists of 8 OTop12 J-Array units, 4 dual 18s loaded with rcf lf18g401, 2 15" superscoopers loaded with CPA 15-1000, 2 15" bassreflex cabs loaded with 2 CPA 15-400 and a bunch of other top speakers... so its a mess. I am planning on selling almost everything, start over and think twice before building new cabs. The tapped horn seemes like a very good design for the subwoofers. I was thinking of 4 tham15s for smaller gigs and a bigger sub for the outdoor venues. I came across 2 intresting designs: the MTH 4654 and the TH18 Xoc1. I would like to load them with the rcf lf18g401 so wich one is the best? I hope you guys can help me out (excuse me for my poor English)

You should be aware that TH118 (i have not heard the MTH) owes a lot of its performance to the driver they use in it.
So your results with that rcf 18 will not be even close. Especially in the below 50hz area.

Anyone know how Void V18 1000s perform in tapped horns, namely the MTH?
