The rx is a lovely box but I believe also the throat is too small which is why a lot of drivers struggle choke in there and also some drivers get very hot in there too, they shift massive amounts of air but 10m back it does drop off very quickly,at motion the bnc neo did go pop in there no clipping or nasty just could not take the same continuous power as 1850",I do a lot of hire outs for drum and bass not all sound system jerk it for a bit and come down, the drivers are running for 5 to 6 hours at 800,900w,and the neo could not take that as well as the 1850s,having owned rx,s118,shortman full, noise control full,Larry and Steve b 1850 loaded and many other drivers tryed, fans xb,pd186,fane b,beyma g550,bnc neo, turbo max 1000 and 1200',pd 1851 and 52 can say this with running experience not "I heard a sound running these experiences"correct Hpf etc was used , just my findings,

It's good to know your findings Paulus.
Was the b&c neo tested in the rx18, because it's more suited for larger chambers than standard rx18's. |

Well, I've got 4 loaded in rx18jnrs which is effectively a mini version of the rx18dc (deep chamber), and so far I'm really impressed.
So rx18 more suited to 1850 or tbx100. Edited by Motion54 - 30 November 2015 at 8:52am |
