If had problems with pd1852 when no dameges is hearing in voice coil when moving cone, do not need recone, i have two pd1852 and they bouth was daed iven not overpovered... They have one bad thing, and that i can explane, how they are daeing...

Pauliepaul checked coils , ans says, all coils ar damaged, meybe some one have in good condition coil cuted out from speaker?

I have a pd.186 coil 4 ohms, same diameter, but probably different winding heighs, so probably won't fit in the field or make a different driver, u can have it for free (but shipping)

Intresting will be compare pd186 coil with pd1850 maybe it is the same, how much will coast shipping to Lithuania ?

donno, I should be able to do a comparison as my friends have a pd1850 kit I bought for them from Paulie to stock for backup in case they blow one of their 1850s from their hogs.

You should compare vinding height, coper diameter, and coil diameter, i think , they should be the same, but not 100% sure...

Hi, maybe someone was smashed pr1850 after cristmas or new years?:D and have to sell my voice voils?:) i am still waiting scrap mountain from pauliepaul , my cousin should send this week them to me... So i dont imagine, if there something who i can rescue or not :)

In the 80's I used to dissolve the glue on speakers. Wind my own coils on formers and attach to the spider and cone. I would reassemble the speakers making sure that the voice coil depth was correct and not scraping on the magnet. My whole disco comprised of speakers that I had recoiled. 4 *15", 4*12" and tweeters. Never blew a speaker although driving them hard in horn loaded cabinets. You couldn't hear the difference of a non recoiled speaker. It can be done with the right materials. Afterall voice coils are made in factories... High temperature adhesives are more easily available too.
