Hi all, anyone heard from Tim recently, I paid for some Cubo 12s 11-6-16 and not seen anything yet. I did manage to make contact with him on the 28-6-16 and they were suppose to be getting shipped out the next day. But since then, nothing....

I had them build a pair of cabs for me a couple of years back. They were only small (for 8" Volts) and were promised within a week.
I had phone messages ignored, e-mails and PMs on here went unanswered. Eventually got them after nearly 5 months. We met up 1/2 way and even then he was 30 mins late. I don't think he intends to con anyone but for whatever reason he doesn't stick to any kind of agreed delivery, and would sooner ignore messages than answer them. Sad because his work is very good. |

Agree his works ect, dont mean nothing if you cant honour build time and commucation,
i would not ever deal with anyone done that, so he got a bad reputation now allready

Thanks for the feedback, your experiences seem to be very similar to mine. I have had a few other things from www.speaker-cabinets.co.uk and whilst the work was OK, the communication and broken promises were not. Lets hope he can improve this before it does too much damage to his business!Dupe...

I've used Tim for some bespoke stuff, nice guy. I got the impression he gets pretty stacked out with work on bulk products so small runs of items fit in between these, and tbf he said from the get go of commissioning that timescales can change and worth taking into account if you are in a rush.
The work he did for me and others I know has been excellent however, |

Update: Still no contact with Tim so still no idea if I will ever get my Cubo12s. I tried to make it clear to Tim that I understand that I am only a small order, I was in no rush so happy for it to be delayed if needed. I hoped he would at least let me know this time that a delay had occurred, I don't mind and understand, but talk to me.
I don't know if I should wait longer or start the process to recover the money? Dupe... |

Still no contact, and it does not seem too good. It appears I am not the only one chasing him, sounds like he is having issues and therefore I don't think its likely that my Cubos will ever turn up...

yeh i tried to contact them for some hogs, no reply to e-mail and the answer machine was full.
too red flagish to trust, also when you click buy it takes you straight to the paypal conformation without even giving details.

Bought some old cabs off him once, then some drivers. Prices were fair but I thought the CNC stuff was expensive. I should be over there next week, will ask neighbors, you never know might just be a family crisis or something?

Does he have a Facebook page? Might be some comments on there which might give you a clue? Or does anyone know his personal Facebook?
We designed some logos for him as a kind of 'competition' and his replies were sporadic then... So maybe he's just a bit flakey... |
