Knew I shouldn't have tempted fate by asking about reliability of Crown XS amps. Got mine out yesterday plugged it in to check it for a gig, fans came on, loud hum from speakers, then fault light comes up and fan powers down. 😭. Anybody able to recommend someone local to Romford, who can take a look at this?

Ta ever so knowledgable ones!!

Sounds like a fault on one of the output channels, loud hum then fault light coming on. Output transistors & or driver transistors is the first place i would start on either one or both channels. Cry
