I am just about to order some paint from Blue Aran, and I have a choice between satin or gloss. Looking at my Res 4's I would say they were Satin (could be wrong), but would rather check with you guys what is the correct factory finish.

Thanks

Depends how bright you want your top end, the +3db for purple isn't a flat boost - it varies with the finish

We all know that blue gives more boost, with purple being second best. But F1 could not use is because Turbo got it first.

The sound of the gloss is a bit too smooth for my liking

You could use matt, but then you would need foam on the front.

Why not use red carpet instead and a 'made in Norfolk' badge for the rear?

You can make Funktion One paint by mixing Void and Turbosound paint in equal measures.
Don't test the champignon sound
