Hiya,

I own one of these amps and have been using it for the last two and a half years and it has performed flawlessly.

It used to power my 2x15 celestion truvox loaded bass bins but was relegated to the 12inch mid drivers in my tops when i purchased a HK Audio VX2400 to use on the 2x15 which does out perform the samson but is of much higher power rating and just in general a beter more expensive amp.

When i moved the S1500 onto the mids it did make the mids sound far sweeter and a lot cleaner than the Audiohead AH1000 i was using on them before.

I know these amps are discontinued now as when i got my one it was one of the last ones out of the factory (or so im told) but if you can pick up one second hand for a decent price definitely work going for IMO.

HTH
