I'm looking for an affordable car amp capable of pushing about 2000 -
2200watt RMS at 1ohm. any pointers to an amp? i'm tight on cash so the
lower the price the better. i can't really give a bugget cost so just
throw down some ideas please thanks.
*amp will be powering a pair of ADF-292s in a dual loaded BP4 with all VCs wired and in Parallel for 1ohm load on amp.* |

http://www.ground-zero-audio.com/english/05_pw18.htm The Plutonium GZPW 18SPL 18 inch, how the hell can that handle 10kw rms, no fan on it etc.Unless the vc is ceramic coated or something. LOL that sub can handle 10,000w rms, you would think the vc would glow like a an electric fire element.Surelly that would blow with 10kw rms through it. Edited by ToXiC - 09 January 2006 at 7:59pm |

Have a look on ebay at the stuff for sale by www.theloudest.com he sells the bass amps for a lot less, the big one actually does 3000w RMS at 2ohms and sells for £250. I've got one of the 1500w RMS ones that normally go for £150, but are out of stock at the moment, and the big one is two in one case strapped together. Seems they are made by another well known company and rebadged.

The one I have is sold as 4000w, but is actually 1500w RMS into 1 ohm. It's £499 on www.theloudest.co.uk but he sells them for £149 on ebay. The one that is sold as 8000w is actually 3000w RMS into 2 ohms, an is two of the 1500w one strapped together in one case.
