i have poor sr 707 that needs repairing, comes on ok - when you turn up the channel a vol pot , goes into protect

channel b fine 

any leads would be great

what about if you power it up with the pot fully open?
4 ohms is for wimps

He's in Bristol and is who I use for all my repairs. He's sorted my C-Audio's everytime. Quick, good turn around and a top bloke... and I'm not just saying that to get a discount on my next repair. Honest!
