I had one of these.
Whilst being lent to Darryl Haden it was connected to two T18's with the, "New" Wembley BLine 500w drivers, 4 ohm.
We were in Slough Centre and I had two T18's as said. We wanted to show how the new cabs were so much better than the big old mish mash Darryl had, so said run them alone. Wern't getting much volume till he noticed the -? db mic talkover was on (Harrison DJ mixer). Madly he fipped it off at full tilt, full signal to amp POP, nasty silence.
If looks could kill...
Well, let's remember we were at a time when protection ciruits on amps were either not there or rubbish, this beutiful amp shut down so quick that everything was perfect, no driver damage and it all worked perfectly.
They are utterly brilliant amps, huge control, safe and loud.
