I'm just about to complete the construction of my first bass bins and dont really know where to get the dampening material . The plans, free from 18-snd's site, calls for heavy dampening like 'dacron' yet I cant seem to find a decent source in the US. any fellow 'yanks' out there know where i can get something that'll work? |

I think eggboxfoam are fibreglass insulation will work fine, but what plan are we talking about?
Subs normally don't need allot of dampening if any. Edited by jerronimo - 18 June 2010 at 8:58am |

Cheap pillows, quilts or sleeping bags are filled with "Hollowfill" which is another name for Dacron.
