I've noticed a lot of vinyl have these type of holes:

Am I right in thinking these are made to be "snapped" off for use with a juke box?

If so, how can I do so safely without potentially ruining my vinyl... my hands are rather clumsy.

they just twist out with your fingers..... randomly sometimes i take em out so i can doctor any off centre 7's. i trim two of the 'spikes' down... takes a while of messing about on the slip mat to get it right then tape it in place.  sorry off topic.....

How will it ruin the record if it's deigned to be done?
It would mean I could switch records easier.

You said you hands were clumsy! LOL  It was designed as an option to be done agreed but if it is a killer tune you could damage it. For sure though it'll make flipping 7's quicker.
