Just wondering if anyone has ever scaled down an SMT212 cab to run off a pair of something like a pair of 8" and then a 1" compression driver? Or if there is a similar cab to what i'm after about? And if not, i'm guessing it wouldn't be a simple matter of just scaling all the dimensions? I would try and sim it but i'm not quite sure how with it being ported and having a horn... EDIT: Just realised this should probably be in Plan Requests, sorry.

Somewhere on the forum there's a guide on how to use HornResp, so download a copy and have a go yourself. It is much more rewarding to do the design bit yourself. And if that doesn't help, all you've got to do is ask and someone will answer... and usually very quickly.

I have got myself a copy of HornResp, but wasn't sure if could be modelled as a proper horn, given that it is ported...

Read the instructions, and use combined response.

Ok, will have a go and see how it goes :)
EDIT: Just spent the day playing around with HornResp and seem to have found something that works. Thanks for the advice to stick with it, it's all a bit daunting at first but it's alright once you get the hang of it. Looking forward to building it (eventually!) and seeing how it sounds.
