No you're wrong paper simply is one of the best materials we can use for this purpose, that was right 70 years ago and still is today. Don't get fooled about all the marketing the big hifi brands use, like B&W, kevlar is good for one thing and that is stopping bullets... And releasing the top of the range nautilus serie's and then when sales drop release a "signature" edition for twice the price with only modest changes in filter components... There's a reason old ATC drivers and speakers fetch big money even today, they made someting that works 30 years ago! Hifi nuts just like to be screwed pa guys don't. Sorry for the off topic ramble... As for ribbon drivers, beyma make a nice one to the TP-200 http://www.bax-shop.nl/tweeter/beyma-tpl-200-h-pleated-diaphragm-tweeter-met-hoorn |

Nice one Pat, good to see all of that lot slowly come together and migrate out of your Uni room over the years! Finally getting a bit of space. Just need to get the 186 horns back now.
