I have already posted this and asked but id like to no if this is the best way to set it all up

this is what I have:
studio mixer seck model 122 mk2 12 channel
peavey cs 1000
hh electronics v500 mos-fet
lynforge a400

2x peavey base bins xt seris-blackwidow equipt 400w
4x ontop hz international ltd he300   300w

This is how I have been told to set it up:

Take 2 screened xlr leads plug them into the output of the mixer
plug the other end of them into the V500 inputs (1 & 2)

Take another pair of the same type of leads and plug them into the link ouputs on the V500 these are directly under the inputs (don't connect them to the speaker outputs)
plug the other ends into the inputs of the CS1000.

connect speaker leads to the mid highs and connect them to the V500..

is there anything eles anyone would advise me to get to make this any better, I don't mean a hole new set up either???? I got this all really cheap and its all in good working order

As said before, if you want better quality sound then get a two way crossover to split the signal - otherwise do what was suggested and put the HH on mid/top with CS on bass.
