hi, i was just hoping someone could put my mind at rest,was i right to ofset my braces for my scoop from the center as to not efectivly create 2 narrower horn paths. if not then would it make much difference  (im not talking about the braces on the horn mouth, the other two)

You mean the bracing in the horn flare near the top where the chamber is?
 
I've seen scoops been made and that part is normally quite narrow so it doesn't obstruct the flare path.

yeah thats the bit, i ofset myne from the center becasue i remeber reading somewhere that it stops you effectively creating 2 smaller horns, am i right?

it all depends how big you did them? you see they dont need to be that big 4/5'' max would be fine, and off centre wont hurt it none
