Not good at kick?  That as Staips remit in the original post, to eliminate the need for kick. One I did kicked like a mule with Fane Prime.........Driver choice/mine not extended version?

Look at the HR plot. Hump at 91, and not good at kick?

In multiples looks to be good to 120-150Hz?

Multiples it is then.
Bit weird, as design brief was deffo to avoid kicks, I know this because it came directly from me doing an 18 Micro Hog and moaning. Thread below. I built only one and tested thoroughly with a Fane.   Know what I heard, so gonna say HR not correct in my opinion

Cab was a very loud, high attack, smooth (almost too smooth) success.
Used in a field round here, and indoors. They are a bitch to build and use a lot of wood but go up to 120 with ease. Actually nicer 120 than a reflex IMO

To quote Bitzo from the above thread

this cab is so complex, HR isn't good in this case. However here's an akabak sim b&c 18tbx100 loaded, composed by eleven section, I take care of the magnet diameter in 10th section.
Great cab, I'm very curious to listen it someday.

Most tapped horns are meant to be low passed below 100Hz - the design often has an increase in distortion and a peak above that.

I have two bought from the man himself, now are permanently installed in one place. Although they play to 150ish there i prefer them with a 90hz highpass. Also used em as kicks over scoops once, wasnt bad at all actually. Dunno they can play the kick for sure but the sound of em doing it is questionable and a matter of taste.
