Acquired a pair of JBL JRX115 for little money (100) but could not put up with top end.
Beyma CD10fe installed with an adapter and they are very sweet.
It just is.

Yeah, the stock ones are pony. Replaced a pair with selenium tweeters years ago. Much improved.

I changed mine for the JBL 2416 that's in the M350 cabs, as I had a pair on the shelf.
Mind you, while I was at it I swapped the LF for an Eminence Delta LF. A much better sounding cab!
I've used them for pub gigs, both with and without subs, and they do deliver.

I liked my JRX 125 apart from the top end of course, the only other downside was the mdf enclosure... The joints decided to fail...

I only use them 70 up on top of 18 reflex, so should be fine.
Must admit though, with the aggressive PAudio pricing I was thinking of a bass driver upgrade

I've upgraded ours with CP350Ti HF and the lower bass unit is now P Audios E500s or something. Sounds MUCH better.

I only stumbled on the P Audios as a last resort as I needed to replace a driver last minute before a gig and getting the JBL driver was proving tough and Blue Aran suggested the P Audios which turnt out to be an upgrade. Though it made the cabs even heavier lol.

The JRX has the M115a 15" driver.  Its very near the same driver as the ones found in the old TR series, (just upgraded power rating) a good trusted driver.    I too think it's a good driver.

The Thiele Small Parameters can be found in this link:
