Hi
I recently purchased 2 x RCF L15P200AK extended low Frequency 15" woofers. The plan is to build 2 bass cabinets for them Any suggestions? Thank you |

Sort of depends what you want out of it, and what effort you're willing to do to to integrate it into your setup.
Looks like about 100l net internal volume would suit, these 3 curves are all that volume with tunings of 36Hz, 41Hz and 46Hz respectively. The processing applied gives 100Hz Butterworth low-pass crossovers and F3 points of 35Hz, 40Hz and 45Hz for each one, while keeping excursion within the 9.75mm extended definition of Xmax used by RCF. All use no more than the continuous power rating of the driver. If you use a box shape like this one: then the vent sizes would be as follows: Tuning Vent Height Vent length 36Hz 59mm 432mm 41Hz 64mm 335mm 46Hz 70mm 268mm NOTE - the above plan was drawn for a different driver & tuning so the box volume may need adjusted slightly to account for the different volumes occupied by each of the ports mentioned above. Easiest way to achieve that is just make the overall depth of the box a little deeper or shallower as needed. Hope that helps, David.
