Hello!
I've 3 pieces of this amp here, which I want to refurbish. The problem is that non of them have the original fan mounted. Does anybody here knows which fan was used by altec back in the days? I want to buy new fans, but I need to know how much flow rate is required to cool this amp adequate, to choose the right model. The service manual doesn't help because it mentions the altec part number, not the name of the fan model. Thanks & Regards, George

The 9444A and 9444B service manuals both show part number 35-01-124521, additionally the B manual shows 100 CFM in the name and description column. I found both manuals on the net a few years ago. Hope this helps.

I just got back from our warehouse, all of the pulled 9444B's have NMB 4715FS-12T-B50 fans installed. 12T is for 115 volts, 23T is for 230.
