Photo's dont work here. Opening in a new tab and replacing 'i998' with 'www' does the trick. Then open the ghettoblaster to show all the pics.

Nice job! Looks great.

One of the best looking portable rigs I've seen for a while. Love the "road tough" aesthetic, and great touch recessing the controls.... though for the weight would ply have been a better option?

Yes your absolutely right, but it would of pushed the budget up quite a bit for the sake of less than a kg weight saving of a box this size (£20-mdf / £60ish decent ply (B&Q). He'll have to get his sack barrow out if he wants to take it far! Big smile

What? That's ridiculously expensive, that should be like 5 pounds for the MDF.

Woods obviously cheaper over there in the Nertherlands. Most things are overpriced here! But thats a whole different topic.

The price was for 18mm 8x4ft sheets.

Ah ok that makes more sense, but you didn't use the whole sheet right? I also had this 'problem' when buying my 12mm multiplex, had to buy the whole sheet (55 euro) when I only used ~38 euro of it. But now I have quality ply for all my upcoming builds  ^.^

No I only used half a sheet and used the other half for some other bits and bobs. Half a sheet (4x4ft) was £16, so it made sense to just buy a full sheet for £20.

Nice like those monacor speakers sound great for the price also looks like you could chuck it off a building and it would be fine. Thumbs Up
I do a sideline in ply wood wheels.
