This is probably a dumbass question but here goes...
Would this work?
One 2 channel Amp (Maxamp or similar), two crossovers, two tweeters and one Bass driver.
Tweeters in stereo and Both low outputs from the Crossovers into one Bass driver.

My Tinnitus is coming along nicely!!

yes and no.....

get a double voicecoil bass cone, allows you to run a left signal through one coil and a right signal through the other coil - very similar to how many commercial small rigs were configured in the 90's when amps were more expensive....

It works, but isn't really ideal - sometimes panning in the bass range can create +-6db cuts/gains to the bass where the two channels don't sum well [quite rare i've come across this issue though].

Ideal for super simple compact rigs, albeit id rather just get a 4channel DSP onboard amp, with stereo tops, and two channels bridged into a single sub. Sorted.

Thanks for that Ginger.
I've a pair of Tannoys, one with a bust woofer.
I was thinking of making a 12v Boombox with them.

well yeah, essentially your stereo amp signal would go into the sub, which would contain your two passive crossovers.....

they will feed a coil each, and the high can go out on two speaker outs.

Ideal solution when things need to be kept simple - perfect for 12v boombox etc etc....
