Hi, curious as to how the 186 driver would sound in the 1850 horn, does anyone have any real life experience of this ? Also curious as to how it would sound the other way around, i.e 1850 in the 186 horn.

Also, has anyone used any of the Royal Turbotax drivers in either of the horns ? How did it sound ?

Cheers

They're the same bass horn except for rear chamber volumes. The 1850 has a panel which reduces the volume of the rear chamber to suit the PD1850. The PD186 works better with a bigger chamber so said panel is removed resulting in a bigger rear chamber.

Mismatching things wouldn't make any sense so stick with what's there.
