Hello together,

I’m interested in building two x15's additionally for my two 21"-scoops.

I’m planning to use the following parts:

  • BMS 4590-16
  • BMS 2236-2
  • BMS C 16-16
  • PDN.15BR40

Is this a good supplement for my two scoops?

Will these chassis work in this cabinet?

Will I need a crossover for the PD?

Thanks in advance

hi

to get the best out of those you need to run the cab active with a crossover point around 1k between the pd and the bms id suggest as a start point, you could go as low as 800hz maybe but  youd have to see how that sounds when you build them

dont forget to sim the pd in the x15 cab to make sure you tuned  right  id think it would be ok down to 50hz ish , you should be able to tell when you sim it in bbpro or winsid

these should sound very good as ther both very good drivers, the bms is used in some of the most expensive pa speakers you can buy

good luck
GOD TOLD ME TO DO IT !!!!!

1x 4590 would easily cover 2-3 15" reflex loaded mids. Get the passive Xover for them!
2236 horns load well below 800hz..

personally i would build 2x single 15" cabs and 2 Tops with the same 15"+HF, this way you have smaller, scalable cabs and you could play around with crossover points between both 15"s..
(2x 80-250, other 2x 80-800 for example)

With such a complex setup i would advise getting a digital LMS (Berry DCX) to apply delays, limiters, EQ etc.!
