Is there any actual difference, same specs, same price.

Is there a reason to choose one over the other, or a reason not to choose either?

Same stand I expect, same as the old Stairville one and cloned from the Mobiltech one.

Only reason to go for something else is if you need something with more weight limit and have much deeper pockets, or need something slightly more pretty (Manfrotto or one of the many clones like Varytec 380) if you can live with the reduced load capacity.

My first ST132 had a 100kg weight limit.
Only after a bit did they reduce to 85kg.
Never known them any lower than that.

Those are all ST132 stands, regardless of what they want to call them.

The last ST132 I saw was rated to 60kg.

I wonder why the constant change?

Are you sure it was an ST132? How was it branded?

I've never seen one of those stands less than 85kg.
