I built myself a 12 x 12

I bought 8 x 6' x 6' fence panels, and used them on their sides, bolted together. One was cut in half and used as the door (3ft).

For the roof I used the green corrugated sheets

Stood me in around £600 for materials. Normally a shed that size is double that price.

Drive there, take it down. Pack it on a lorry. Drive it home. Assemble. How much as that cost you so far? lets not forget problem you may find taking it apart.

Phone Selco. Order. Delivery next day. Make a shed

im gonna agree with mykee here.... self build and if you order over a couple hundred quids worth of gear they normally deliver for free if your local. i built my little girls zombie fortress in three weekends and that cost me about 400ish.

also 1st time i had done anything like that and mine was all ship lap and i built it from scratch!! had a ruff idea in my head and got cracking!.

next doors fence has sinse blown down in this heavy wind but my little girls zombie fortress just stands there not giving a fuuk! (she also has solar lighting and 2x gel cells powering small bits like fone chargers and small netbooks)
If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

Just about to build my own too, for what it would cost to get a kit built out of more or less matchsticks, I will end up with a bombproof and insulated shed. I'd at least look into it if you have a decent local woodyard that will deliver.

Eh no it's not counter productive, I've hut built a 16 foot x 12 foot shed for a mate, by doing a self build he got exactly what he wanted and it'll probably last longer than him
I built it in four foot sections using 4 x 2 tanned timber then covered it with good quality 18mm shuttering ply which was painted when finished, it's solid, looks smart and should he move he can take it apart easily and take it with him.
it cost less than a grand including the base
Never criticise another man until you've walked a mile in his shoes. Once you have, call him what you like, you're a mile away and you've got his shoes!
