   I would look at a ported horn design, tuned to low 30's with eq to smooth the response, it would give a lot more bang for buck if wood available and can make do with the size.Plenty of kick and will still play low, add more boxes later for more sub, they have the advantage of being a wide bandwidth box so easy to integrate with any top box.
