If you use them single use at least 40 hz, 45 better, that does not look like a very long horn. Look at the tsw-721 21"cab same style, claims response from 50hz, those boxes are only subs in stacks bigger than 4.
I use 38 hz lowcut on my 6 bph when stacked |

Boxes are rated from 45hz my friend:-) This can not be +-3dB as they claim 350hz, must be more like +-6 or +-10dB Which mean you shouldn't expect much below that frequency |

They are a long horn. If you look at the photo, the driver faces down and there are two folds before the curved part of the horn.
And very suby. We have used them with F1 218s, infra bass and Thunderidge SB2000s and these have far more sub than all of them. They don't sound good above around 170 though. Saying that, i will experiment with raising the low cut to see how high i can go before noticing the difference. When i can afford the re cones. ;-) |

It's not how big it is, it's what you do with it!

Ive had bs600s....and they do not play low...and definatly not 20hz?! And ive found with some peoples dodgy recordings ive seen music played and the sub cones are just flapping around when theres no bass on the track due to some dodgy extremly low frequencies or something as there's no sound only movement.im with everyone else, set it 40hz.

That horn is a similar layout and length to an 1850 horn, which drops off just below 50 hz in small stacks. The horn you have will not go anywhere near 20 hz, the horn would have to be silly long (see 5m+). All your doing is unloading your drivers below the horns cutoff and smacking the coils into backplate at high power.

Problem solved.
NOTICE: Most basshorns are NOT subhorns, and definately not on it's own, this would be extremely big. Two practical solutions are seen: Cabs like labhorns & scoops go down to around 30hz in stacks of 4 or more. BPH subs go down to around 40hz in stacks of four or more. Below 1.67 m path lenght it's not a real subhorn, look here: http://speakerplans.com/index.php?id=faq15 |

Alright, chill out.
I never said they went down to 20hz, only that that is what the DBX was set at. I never bothered to look up what they go down to, to be fair. Wish i had now. Lesson learned the hard way. ;-) |
