Hello, I have bought an old bss minidrive that was binned because the display backlight had failed. I changed the Leds which has restored the lcd display but it says it is oem locked, I have tried BSS as password wi no luck. Can anyone tell me how to factory reset or remove password on this unit?
Kind regards
Nathan

Just downloaded the manual thru Google. Page 29 did say this:
"IMPORTANT: Write down your password and keep it in a safe place. There is no way around this security mechanism without the password."

Are U able to access other programs? I gather OEM lock is on a program basis so U should be able to access others..

I assume contact with previous owner is out of the question?

Try doing a firmware upgrade, might wipe all the settings...  I can't remember if it does.

Hey thanks for replies guys, sorted it! managed to do factory reset by accessing factory menu. Found this out from another speakerplans post. Simply press mute buttons on channel a+b and recall at same time whilst unit is booting up.
