So i take it it cant be converted?
bcus ones a Mass and ones a Volume or is there a way of doing it the reason im asking i want to know how many litres is a tub of Tuff Cab 5kg thanks....

there isnt a corresponding way to work between the two, because the physical weight of two items for example say paint and water are different ,so if they both physicaly weighed 5kg there would be more water than paint as paint is denser

hey
yeah the problem is that you can only convert if you know the density. Or the weight per KG or something like that. 5l of feathers would be a very different weight from 5l of concrete, and so on. Pure water is easy and is your bench mark, as 1 cubic cm of water = 1 gram. (that's what they chose as the basis for the gram). Otherwise all different materials have all different densities, and so would weight different. Paint would obviously be a bit heavier than 1 to 1 as it has the solid particles of the actual paint making it heavier. k

But paint and water will have much more similar densities than feathers and concrete. 1l of water weighs 1kg, 5kg of paint will be about 5l.

Since TuffCab is water-based, it won't be a long way out. Drop a spoonfull of paint into water and see whether it immediately floats or sinks. That will tell you whether 5kg of paint will be more or less than 5L.
