I'm thinking about installing an led light source inside a subwoofer and am wondering if it would be ok to use poles 2+/2- as a convenient way to get 12v inside the cab. Has anyone done this? I would rather not break stuff trying it...

In theory it should be ok, but I do see all sorts of future disasters happening when cables get switched, or used on other cabs, etc.

Thanks earplug. The cabinets in question are fitted in my camper van, so the cabling wont be used with anything else.
