AFAIW the X32 doesn't have any panning or linking of channels on its Direct Out tap, the only options you have are PRE or POST EQ (with or without mutes) and PRE or POST FADER (with or without mutes)

Yep it can be either PRE or POST and yep technically direct off the head amp is with no mute/dynamics/eq or fader.

And I'm pretty sure that might be your problem..panning into aux buses rather than a direct out...BUT do check for any delays added to the output buses. When all played back together at mix down that could screw things up.
Mostly harmless.... except if catering is shut.
