anyway, sure see what comes back on yours, and what others say here. the lead suggestion these days will probably be the dbmark 8 out ones. or andy blue aran just posted one on his ebay (in for sale section here).

How much you want for it?
It's possible a bit more life could be coaxed out of my 388 but I'm looking to have as many options as possible just in case.

I've had Bss 388 and Turbosound LMS700.

Now upgraded to  DBMark DP4/8 MKIV.

Walks all over my old '388s in terms of sound quality, versatility.

No more d*cking around trying to find lead and s/w to link to laptop, and ability to play 5x way stereo (summed kick and sub), is priceless.

I've had a quick look at those DB mark, going to check out properly later.
How long have you had yours for?

Had my DP 2/8 & 4/8 MKIVs about 2x years now.

They've gone up in value/price, so difficult to let them go now..

Just don't think there's anything worth buying below £700 to replace them.

The 388 came out of the rack earlier ready to go to be looked at Friday. I'll wait and see what the outcome is. If it's no good I'll see what sort of money I can warrant spending on its replacement.
