Yet another post but something im struggling to find answers for.
I want to calculate limiter settings to protect 4 x 15" kappa LF's hanging off a proline 3000 ( 2 each side) I cant find the amplifier gain anywhere anywhere but do know the input sensitivity is 0.77V and that 0.775 v = 0dB? I have an ultradrive so have know it need to be set to compensate for the +22dB Thanks, I have been struggling with this for some time

Feel like I need a multiplier value? Or is the sensitivity 0dB so set limiters to -22dB on the ultradrive and roll back a couple dB on the sub output to be safe?

 DCX 2496 limiters, don't sound very nice on sub.. I prefer one of these. Often £40 used off ebay. Edited by levyte357- - 19 January 2017 at 1:34pm |
