Hi guys new to this so be gentle. Lol. So I recently required a Logitech z323 sound system from a friend. He was moving and the 2 speakers got damaged in transit but the subwoofer was fine. He was going to throw it out but I thought I could salvage it and connect to the tv for a bit of bass. Now I've connected it to the tv via the aux input on the back of the subwoofer but nothing is coming through. Now because the right speaker connects via a db9 serial port and turns on/volumes up the sub and built in amp, am I right in thinking that's why it isn't working? Also, would a db9 to 3.5mm audio jack work to act as the "right speaker" and make it work?
