Expect flak from many on SP, who just won't understand, why the above would be needed, for certain "genres".. Wink LOL

Still not sure why people offer a compression driver as a solution to replace a bullet. A 1" 1.4" cant sound like a bullet and vice versa. When it comes to sound system its all about preference. Everybody has a different set up and wants to achieve a different sound. Most set ups will play the frequencies but its more to do with HOW they sound playing them.

These do sound very nice, if not "that loud", for a Bullet.

I have about 13x Selenium ST400 bullets, silver version, which I personally imported from USA.

Walk all over all bullets in UK, in terms of efficiency/SPL.
Rarer than rocking horse ..., in the UK.

Not sure what it would take, to separate me from these...

LOL

what a about a pile these instead  ??  LOL

How many st 400's would you recommend to go with a serious comp like you say?
Sounds like these may be worth a go.

Tony Rossells mentioned a while ago, that even though there are some rather nice sounding 1" Comps, nothing can reproduce the sound of a Bullet Tweeter.

i second that Thumbs Up tissss

Having used 1" comps and then bullets above 2" comps I'll third that, tisss indeed!

At a tangent, considering there are aftermarket diaphragms for almost everything, why never a Fane HF250 one?

If you run them actively (lms), with dedicated large amp for bullets, could prob get away with 2x per 2" compression driver.

ive allways asked the same question bro,

why man, got to be 10,000s out there still, one of mi fave still, sound sweet man,

i ask the question to bluearan too,

repley - sorry no,

aftermarket diaphragms are generally on the market because the original diaphragm fitted a wide range of units, and when one manufacturer stops using them, they are still in production for other units.

We havent had anything for the HF250 for a long time.
