anyone know someone who has stock in Bristol of M10 eyebolts with at least 30mm or 40mm thread? or who can post by Saturday morning?

Last lot of eyebolts I bought were from RS Components! Rated with individual test certificates.

Have you tried Stage electrics, Imax Lighting, enlightened?

looked at RS and Stage Electrics - not seeing anything long enough to got through speaker cabinet and into flying bracket. Penn Elcom was the first place I looked but they don't seem to do them either.

A Bit late now but Margnor are amazing.


I also use gsproducts.co.uk for small stuff.

The people that really do it are http://www.splicingallied.com no website, but call and they sort...

Produced a complete rated fly system for a somekinda Void boxes in less than 4 hours....

Great people, please don't dick them about!!!!!

found Penn Elcom do sell them - for £12.35 each LOL

local nut and bolt specialist (Infix Ltd) sorted me out generic eye bolts for £1.50 each. Not rated to 250kg each but I will bend the 10:1 safety ratio as only flying five feet off the ground.

Bristol Rope and Twine company were also very helpful but didn't have in stock anything quite long enough. good for wires with eyelets etc.

and I had to replace all the Yorkville mounting brackets from 3/8 to M10 - fortunately I had a box at the back of the garage.
