Why long horn hybrides?
They sound great just precise not colorized and so powerfull.
I was thinking about long horn hybrides vs front loaded horns and here is the difference:
hybrides are more universal, there is always bigger chance they will work in smaller room(bass will be inside not across the street)
in smaller amounts(1-2pc) hybrides bottom looks little better.
horns can get lower in bigger amounts. Hybrides stack a little differently at bottom of the bandwidtch.

I was thinking about design like badmans. To use speaker to its Xmax reasoneable box would be around 950 dm3 net vol. With f-3db 28Hz(4pc 2 pi) but its a little overkill.

This hybride horn was designed to use this speaker to its last breath. Hopefully including power compression it will reach its mechanical and thermal limits close by.

2 speakers fit in with identical responses. 21NLW9601 and 21sw152 (14mm Xmax 3600W program 8ohm vs 15mm Xmax 4000W program 4ohm)

680dm3 net volume.
Here are some outdated renders. Many changes were done since.

There will be no plans for this one.
Nice shoot.

The plots are for this old renders. Design changed slightly few times. This render had rear chamber too small ~-50dm3. Current has bigger but probably still too small. Will need to be tuned a little. I tried to get rid of this design problem with very narrow br`s like http://rs100.pbsrc.com/albums/m40/Akos_Elek/970516_10200551492250181_745251116_n1_zpsca73f02e.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip
It may not be that reasonable as this br has huge cross surface.
