Alright, a very newbie question here. What is the best glue to use? What are the best screws to use? Any first-timer recommendations?

Use screw fix joiner mate PU glue and 3.5x40mm Turbogold screws...
4mm is bolox you need to pilot, PVa is for school girls, buy once buy right!!! Also I don't mess around with countersinks and Turbogold chops in and leave a nice rough edge for the 2 pack filler to grab.... I use either Brewers' 2 pak, Isopon P38 or plastic padding, any decent 2 pak poly ester filler will do. If you want to use "tuffcab" or similar emulsion paints, be awre you need tiny amounts of filler, (hence the 3.5mm TG head sinks nice.. |
