Doesn't say anywhere about gain at all... I see the op-amps and the unbalanced headers but no where about gain.

As said I was only after about 6db of gain to give the system a boost. I currently have a Kramer VM-80A that runs up to a tickle under 6db and is fully balanced.. and can handle a pair of stereo inputs. (EBay for £23!!!!)

If you buy those for boost, don´t get the 1:1 ratio - that won´t do anything!  Smile

For some reason I expected everyone to know to right-click on images to see where they come from.

Use the drop-down menu and select 150Ω:600Ω for the size to transformer you desire (1/4, 1/2, 1W, etc.), the 1/4W transformers without PC board start at $6.95 each.

The TTCP series ((shown in the earlier post) is $27.33, plus shipping and your VAT.

A typical electronic-balanced input on and amp, EQ, crossover, etc is about 10K so with a  150Ω:600Ω transformer the load on the device driving it will be about 2500Ω.

This series is 1/2W, plenty for line levels. It uses M6 laminated cores, typical of studio equipment. Nickel cores are available at about 4x price.
