I found this on a website, could be a good starting point:

18s 15 MB 1000

recommended cabinet 1:
closed cabinet with 18 L volume
from 128/81 Hz (-3dB/-8dB)

recommended cabinet 2:
54 L volume bass reflex cabinet
with 2x 100mm diameter port tubes, 10 cm long.
from 71/54 Hz (-3dB/-8dB).

Hth
Ash
don't forget the cables

How low do they need to go? If you don't need anything below 200hz then put them in a sealed box just big enough to hold the driver. If you need a little more extension then sealed could still be an option but a small ported box would work too. On the high end a 15" really shouldn't be used above 1khz IMO.

Option 2 nicely up to 900Hz. If you have dsp and basses you can make trade off on low and make brs shorter and get same high. Still having second resonance high enough. 900 seems reasoneable for this speaker.

An aperture slot will allow for dispersion much higher.
