Can I mount a DC-DC converter and have some kind of switch to turn it on so it runs on 24v when switch is on and 12v when its off, is that possible to make? How do i wire it in that case?

2x7,2aH SLA batteries, DC-DC converter to 24v will that make it play for 8h?

The Sure ST508 is tried and tested here. Wel-behaved, reliable at  24V, 4R loads

REMEMBER....POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
