specs are bullshit, 300w rms... no

also doesnt say the actual throat outlet size, just the size of the diaphram!

i dint notice that i thought it was 2" exit, and 300watt rms seems abit much for a compression driver

No real reason why you couldn't make a 300W compression driver, if its a 2" exit the VC is likely to be 3"-4" diameter, you wouldn't need that deep a winding to handle 300W on a 4" coil.

more watts = more heat = smoke & pop!

How many reputable manufacturers do you see advertising 300W CD´s? Zero. That should answer your question. CD´s use light diaphragms and thin cable as they need to respond quickly to the top end signals for which they´re built. A 300W unit would be self-defeating.
