Ok, but i have a special Price for the rcf Here in italy. Do you think that tune the driver at 35 hz and use it in the range of 90 180 is not good?

its all about compromises imo..

a driver that will work well in a given (small) volume tuned low wont sound good above 100ish hz, a driver in the same cab thats able to offer proper lowmids would bottom out quickly at that tuning as its not supposed to be used that low.. Same driver will excel the overall performance of driver A if tuned according to real capabilities.

In short, you wont get a efficient 30hz 15" ported cab performing equally above 100hz afaik..
(ported horn in multiples maybe but not a bog standard reflex)

Try 45ish tuning and a efficient driver rather than seeking for lowest response possible.

Ok, but in the Rog's plan of the G sub the X Over suggested is at 180 Hz for these drivers:

Pd 186, Rcf l18p300 and Fane Colossus 18 XB.

So, look to the spec of the RCF (also simulated with WINISD) the driver can works very well from 90 to 180 Hz.

Why did you say that the sound isn't good above 100 hz?

If I use the original plan with RCF l18p300 it should run up to 180 Hz.. or not?
