All chassis seam to come from China lev

I doubt it very much RMJ has had a cast made. He would have bought chassis from China.

The Void chassis is the old JBL chassis, all from China

Not the chassis Mykey, the green coloured driver surround.

Before RMJ, pretty much all surrounds were paper.

He was the first to use Millitary grade material, that just won't shear..

Then Fane used it (painted black on the front, under side left original tell tale colour as RMJs). LOL

Having knocked up a few (lol) of these I can say that the scetch one is as I copied the original cab that my mate still owns.

Other one looks like a hybrid of the T18 and the RCF cab.

I own four with the RCF mentioned above, they are efficient, warm, can deal with 40hz and nice and easy to move.
They are one of the most successful speakers in marketing terms ever.
We really are going over old ground here though, not exactly fresh ideas. Oooh, but then neither is a scoopWink

Merry Christmas

It just is.

Roy has a special licence for the surround as it has to be approved by the MOD!

What makes these types of material (dust cap, cone, edge surrounds, spider & adhesives)  "Military Grade", is extensive MIL-STD Testing,  im guessing  it would be under, Environment & Reliability Testing .... Thats is anyone wanted a MIL-STD Loudspeaker

Like I said in 2008: "Its drawn off the scan that was on the forum a good wile ago."

Opened up how many other T18 cabs since then and they all measure up to those drawings. I have also built some and they seem to sound the same as the oem cabs...

Anyways...
