Heard Fatman was using Brendon's set but Brendon wasn't there to engineer it!
Jah Youth and Fatman played only. Wasn't there but some feedback I got afterwards. |

I understand due to licensing issues with the venue, they had to install a limiter
Maybe this had implications for Jah Voice Respect............ ![]() |

Myself engineering Quadro's set in there, may have something to do with them getting a limiter. ![]() |

![]() I do believe Quandro's machine was the last system to rattle the residents Thus in turn gave management more legal headache Respect............... |

To correct this propaganda, Jah Voice reach venue 9.20pm, wheeled in 2 amp sections only to be told to remove them and bring sound through rear, which was not practicle as truck could not go through alleyway and carry sound down flight of stairs, through 6" puddle, and up another flight of stairs on pouring rain. ps. Jah Youth first in venue via rear, Fatman came next via front entrance! Both left via front. Jah Voice PA on Fatman sound.

Which part of the above is propaganda Ras? However, I'm fully aware of door situation at "The Edge", and that place has ceased to be a viable venue in my books. To be diplomatic, the owner has some different "ways". |

To be honest G, was just too much politics at that venue. Parking not good, problems carrying set thru front door, residential properties very near by, power just average, problem owner... Situations just waiting to happen.. Now GP, completely different story.. |

I hear you Lev
Early in the year I went to the Jah Youth & Jah Voice session, & I heard grumblings from then Jah Youth had 2 sections & Jah Voice had 1 section split into 2, but still was delivering pressure in the venue, management was anxious that night, especially when Jah Youth did trip the power But I know the pressure's of venue management licences (bureaucratic) But in saying that, really rootz sessions in a venue surrounded by residents is a NO NO!!! especially when the heavyweight machines string up Respect..................... |
