Those shall be 2234h drivers. They are 2235h without mass ring. 2235h recone kits are available from JBL and you won't want aftermarket shitty recone kits. But surrounds alone aren't sold by JBL, so you'll have to et aftermarket foam surrounds.

A bargain Johnny,that's for sure.

Bloody enormous for monitors though....even for home hifi you need a huge room.....probually why the  smaller and older 4333's sell for considerably more money than these 4435's.
Be seeing you.

I'd take a set of 4435 over 4430 anyday.

JBL 4355 is even bigger, yet sells in the $10k+ range...

Even if you didnt like them Johnny, they are worth more than you paid just for the drivers and components, not that im suggesting you dismantle them of course.
Be seeing you.

Good score.
I got a similar bargain a few years ago of t'bay.
They were Westlake TM1 clones out of Plutosound in Stockport-The Clash recorded 'Bankrobber' there and The Smiths' first album(until Morrisey threw a wobbler). 2X 2231a, 1x 2440, 1x 2405 and 2397 horn in each with active 5234 xover for £400 all in.
