@Andycw- yeah 36mm bracing on the mouth, and double 18mm throughout the horn (as u can see in pic) Its amazing how heavy the brace was just by itself. I've never seen or moved one of the ass scoops, but I can imagine this one is only a couple of pounds lighter. The cabs is heavy and solid as sh1t. I'm going to put wheels on the back still and handles on the top aswell.
Lev is there a big difference between the Fane 1500 & the B&C tbx100?

Is the horizontal mouth brace parallel to the top/bottom or does it have an angle?

Yamon, its parallel to the bottom. (It might be a degree off, I'm no master carpenter) The superscooper has a 15 degree upward angle in its crossbrace, the ass rx18 crossbrace is similar to mine but at the end of the crossbrace it has an upward angle to the back, as if water was falling out the back- the crossbrace would catch some and it would fall out of the scoop over the top of the brace. Here is a pick- http://www.myspace.com/djhose/photos/45223987
I still might attempt this also. I learn from the master Thumbs Up. (Tony)

Too much possibilities. I haven't mouth braced my scoop yet and I'm thinking about doing so, but I don't know which option would be the best.

There is another thread on here with a similar design (Fane) and he used a 16 degree upward angle, even more than the super.

@Ras Loud- what kinda scoops u running?

@Lev, the biggest amp I have is a macrotech 5002. There must come a point when you can't put anymore power into a cab or a driver unless your willing to pay through the nose for a HUGE amp too.
I gotta figure 6 scoops loaded with $300-$400 drivers getting 800-1000 watts each, could keep up with 4 scoops loaded with $600-$700 drivers getting over 1000 watts each. I'm quite happy to drag out a couple more cabs to compensate. Also the fact that every time a driver blows I will have to pay through the nose to import a driver (for 25% more that what it costs in the states) and wait 3 weeks to get it. That''s just a couple of things you have to keep in mind when living somewhere like I do.
If I win the lottery I will totally order some of those drivers!! Until then I gotta make due with what i can get.

Do you have a side view pic of the scoop bit before you put the side on?
