Hi,

I have an amp which pushes out 2000w bridged @4ohm to two THAM12s which are 700w each in parallel. I have a DB Mark LMS.

how do I work out how to limit it to a maximum 1400w?
Input welcome as always.

Thanks

1400w is 1.55dB down from 2000w so setup your system without speakers attached and feed it some pink noise at a level that drives the amp to indicate clipping, and then bring in the limiters to reduce those levels by 1.5db. You could also calculate the exact gain number that would get you to the same result but you may have to message it  bit anyway depending upon how effective the limiters are in this model.
